Brindha Kanniah

Brindha Kanniah is a second year PhD student in Geophysics. Her primary research interest is in blending machine learning methods with physics to optimize the process of 4D seismic inversion of Earth’s subsurface, for oil and gas exploration in deep-water environments. With Professor Julien de Wit, she is currently looking at challenges inherent in the 3D mapping of exoplanets, and is investigating machine learning methods to solve them. In her free time, you can find her painting, dancing or making music.
